African swine fever virus detection solution (ASFV)

African swine fever is a highly contagious and severe infectious disease caused by the African swine fever virus (ASFV), which can infect both domestic pigs and wild boars. The disease has a mortality rate of up to 100% and poses a serious threat to the global pig industry, causing significant economic losses.

Currently, there is no vaccine or effective treatment available for African swine fever. The qPCR method is a recommended tool for routine diagnosis of the disease by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), and it is also the preferred detection technology in China during the ongoing epidemic.

ASFV TaqMan Multiplex qPCR Master Mix(UDG plus)

The product includes a hot-start Taq enzyme that is blocked by double-blocking antibodies, effectively inhibiting both its 5’→3′ polymerase and 5’→3′ exonuclease activities. This double-blocking mechanism significantly enhances the amplification efficiency, specificity, and stability of the reagents. Stability: The qPCR master mix is prepared as a full master mix containing primers and probes, placed at 37°C for 7 days, 4°C for 9 days, repeated freezing and thawing 20 times, the amplification is high, There was no significant change in the Ct value of medium and low concentrations of ASFV plasmid.
